About the Program

Are you passionate about motivating and developing a dynamic team, delivering fantastic customer service, driving sales and working closely with your local community?

We are Australia’s largest financial services organisation with over 50,000 employees providing financial solutions to over 11 million customers. We are also proud to have been awarded Money magazine’s Bank of the Year in 2011 for the second year running.

Our 12 month accelerated learning and development program is designed to equip participants with the skills and experience to secure a Branch Manager role upon successful completion of the program.

Our Branch Managers have complete ownership of their branch, driving success by focusing on business development strategies, strong profit growth and market share growth. Key to this is leading their team to be energetic and proactive; providing our customers with friendly, personal and efficient service.

Throughout the program you will have the opportunity to rotate through key branch roles, building your knowledge and understanding of both our business and our customers. You will have the support you need with formal and on-the-job training and will also be pushed so you can achieve to your full potential.

We don’t expect you to know everything about banking right away, which is why our accelerated Branch Leadership Development Program is a fantastic opportunity to use your current leadership and management skills, yet move your career in a new and exciting direction.

Who are we looking for?

Our Branch Managers come from many different backgrounds; you don’t need a financial background to have that special something that we’re looking for – We are looking for people who are passionate and have experience in people management, customer service and sales. 

Where are the positions available?

We have a number of positions available across Australia including New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania, Northern Territory and Queensland.

What happens after the Program?

Our 12 month accelerated learning and development program is designed to equip participants with the skills and experience to secure a Branch Manager role upon successful completion of program. Placement is dependent on both your performance and the dynamic needs of our business.
