About the program

The Regional and Agribusiness Graduate program - your pathway to a successful career

As a Regional and Agribusiness Graduate, you'll be one of a select few within the Commonwealth Bank to access a training and development program tailored specifically for a career in regional and agribusiness. The one year rotation program provides opportunities for you to learn and develop within all client facing areas of the bank's Regional and Agribusiness division. You'll also be encouraged to develop your leadership capabilities through participation in a diverse array of activities, networking functions and formal learning sessions.

As a Regional and Agribusiness Graduate, you will:

  • Be based in a regional Centre
  • Gain an in-depth understanding of the bank's sales and risk processes and our product range
  • Rotate around key areas of the bank including sales, risk, product, global markets, branches (local) and AgriLine
  • Have the chance to get out of the office and onto farms and sites to build solid customer facing experience
  • Be involved in a range of learning and development activities designed to enhance your program experience
  • Consolidate the personal and business skills you have developed
  • Focus on developing and strengthening your leadership skills to prepare you for a senior role within the Bank

You'll also participate in:

  • An induction and orientation program - an experience that includes targeted learning, networking and opportunities to meet key Bank executives
  • Professional business skills training including sales, agribusiness lending and risk analysis
  • Peer learning and support groups, including mentoring from the Regional and Agribusiness Leadership Team
  • Learning forums
  • Social activities
  • Mentoring from the Bank's executives
  • Development projects
  • Networking functions

The Regional and Agribusiness Graduate program provides you with an accelerated pathway to a successful career in Regional and Agribusiness. At the end of your rotation, you'll have the opportunity to join the Regional and Agribusiness team in one of the bank's regional locations.
