We support community groups, environmental organisations, sporting clubs, arts
organisations awards programs and groups that promote health and wellbeing.
Here are some of the groups we
already sponsor. Registered charities that work in youth development or
health may be suitable for our Community
Grants program, while local cricket clubs could benefit from our Grants
for Grassroots Cricket initiative.
If your group is interested in partnering with us, please submit a
sponsorship proposal. Your proposal should explain how working together we
can:
- Strengthen the Commonwealth Bank’s reputation within the target
community.
- Build targeted relationships with clients, the general public and key
decision makers.
- Promote our corporate vision and strategies.
- Maximise sponsorship value by supporting profitable or strategically
important customer segments and products, resulting in customer enquiries being
successfully converted to new business.
- Encourage the participation of our people.
- Provide branding, marketing, media or PR opportunities.
- Have the capacity to be a national program.
- Provide networking opportunities with the community, customers, staff and
industry.
Unfortunately there are a range of sponsorships we can’t participate in,
such as:
- Activities that could be construed as discriminatory.
- Activities supported by other financial institutions.
- Activities where content may be damaging to our reputation.
- Religious organisations or religious activities.
- Political organisations.
- Activities where there is insufficient lead-time to prepare for the
event.
- Activities sponsored by a tobacco company.
- Activities associated with gambling.
- High-risk or contact sports such as motor racing, sky diving, rugby league
and boxing.
While we review each sponsorship request individually on its merits, given
the large number of proposals we receive, unfortunately we can’t support every
sponsorship request. For any further queries, please email sponsorships@cba.com.au
