The Commonwealth Bank supports the growth of sport in Australia and, in particular, the importance of team spirit and good health. Our partnerships encourage excellence in sport at a local, regional and national level and provide young Australians with access to sporting opportunities.

Cricket Australia

We are Cricket Australia’s longest standing partner, having supported cricket in Australia for over 22 years. We helped establish the Commonwealth Bank Centre of Excellence – a successful finishing school for talented young cricketers and we also sponsor our national women’s cricket team, the Commonwealth Bank Southern Stars.

The Commonwealth Bank is the major sponsor of the One-Day International Series in Australia and the Australian One-Day international team. In 2009, the Commonwealth Bank Series will see Australia go head to head with New Zealand and South Africa.
