Improving the health and wellbeing of Australian children
Our staff have always been generous and community-minded. Commonwealth Bank employees support community groups dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of Australian children.
We established the Staff Community Fund in 1917 to provide cots for infants after World War I. Today, the staff giving program supports three main initiatives:

The Staff Community Fund provides grants of up to $10,000 to organisations that directly benefit children in their local communities.

Clown Doctors
The Clown Doctors bring fun and humour to children’s hospitals around Australia, using magic, mime and mimicry. We’ve been their principal partner since 1997.

Midnight Basketball engages at-risk youth
through sport and educational activities held
on Friday or Saturday nights.
