Tools for teachers in each state & territory

The Commonwealth Bank Foundation believes helping young people develop financial literacy and money management skills will set them up for a more secure future.

The National Financial Literacy Curriculum Resource is a free set of educational materials that helps teachers to improve their students’ skills in managing their finances. It comprises 12 modules which have been mapped to the Year 7-10 curriculum in each state and territory. Click on your state or territory above to access the materials.

Educational websites

The Commonwealth Bank also provides educational websites for young children and teenagers:

  • Coinland is a safe virtual world where children aged 5–10 years can learn about the benefits of earning, saving and investing money. More info.
  • OneMillonKids is designed to do nothing less than to educate more than 1 million Australian school children in financial literacy by 2015.
