The Commonwealth Bank Of Australia Receives Approval For A Rep Office License In India

The Commonwealth Bank of Australia is pleased to advise that it has received approval from the Reserve Bank of India to establish a Representative Office in Bangalore.

The Indian Representative Office will lead the Bank’s evaluation of opportunities to develop business operations in India.  

Mr Ravi Kushan is the Bank’s appointed Representative and will lead the new Representative Office.  After identifying a suitable location, he will commence representative and business liaison activities in accordance with local laws and regulations.
