Building on a solid reputation for successful capital investment products, CommSec has recently launched two new products that make investing in the Australian, Chinese and Japanese markets easy for DIY investors.
Capital Series 11 enables investors to capitalise on the economic powerhouses of Japan and China, providing returns linked directly to the performances of local indices.
"Capital Series 11 is our latest product, which draws from the strong pedigree of our previous Capital releases such as Capital Japan, Capital China and Capital Europe," said Matt Comyn, General Manager CommSec.
The other product now available for investors looking for exposure to the Australian share market is the new Income Series 1.
"Both the Capital Series 11 and Income Series 1 are designed for investors who are looking for a way to diversify their portfolios by gaining exposure to the share market indices of Japan, China and Australia, without the in-depth knowledge and resources required to pick stocks directly.
"As with the Capital Series, Income Series 1 is a 100 per cent capital protected product at maturity, and allows investors to benefit from the performance of the Australian share market without having to analyse and monitor the performance of individual stocks," added Mr Comyn.
Both investments are in Australian Dollars, which means there are no foreign exchange complications.
Capital Series 11 and Income Series 1 are now available, both with a minimum investment of $10,000. The closing date for both products is 1 December 2006.
