Commonwealth Bank customers will be offered an even faster turn around time for home loan processing with on the spot loan documentation printing for ‘simple loans’ to be implemented throughout bank branches.
The improvements will speed up the home loan process enabling eligible customers to be provided with their loan documents instantly.
Retail Banking Services, Group Executive, Ross McEwan believes innovations such as speeding up the home loan application process will further improve the Bank’s position as Australia’s home loan market leader.

This new process improves the level of service our Commonwealth Bank employees can provide to our customers.
Improving and simplifying the home loan process is a key initiative for the Bank and supports other recent customer service initiatives, such as revamping the online home loan application process. It now takes about five minutes for customers to apply online and they have direct access to a dedicated online home loan specialist.
