ACCC media release on corrective advertising

10 December 2003

The only fresh development since the judgment was delivered in October on the old advertisements from 2001 and 2002 is the Court's ruling that the circumstances of the case do not justify an injuction as sought by the ACCC.

The corrective advertising agreed by the Bank will proceed in the New Year.

The Bank has already changed its processes to meet the clarified requirements in the Trade Practices Act.
