Claims made in the media that the Bank plans "to take its credit card printing operations overseas, leading to job losses in Victoria" are incorrect. The Bank recently awarded a card supply contract to a company, G&D Australasia, which subsequently, and independently of the Bank, awarded a contract to a plastic card manufacturing company with operations in both Australia and New Zealand.
