Letter to the AFR about a comment incorrectly attributed to the CEO

Dear Sir
I refer to an article that appeared in Monday 20 September’s edition under the headline "BCA’s barely coded message: avoid Labor".
The article incorrectly attributes a comment to the CEO of the Commonwealth Bank, Mr David Murray.
Had the journalist shown more care, he would have noted that the comment "electing a Latham government would pose "extreme" risk to the economy" was not originally attributed to Mr Murray.
