The FSU's media release of 26 July made unspecified claims that the Bank had 'intimidated' staff during the current union campaign of industrial bans. The Bank's response is as follows:
The FSU’s industrial bans are designed to have a direct impact on the service the Bank provides to its customers and may undermine the achievements already made in improving customer service.
The Bank has reminded staff of work process improvements already put in place.
The Bank also feels it is important to remind staff that the bans may impact some of the key requirements of their roles and that imposing those bans may constitute formal industrial action.
