The following Letter was forwarded to the Daily Telegraph after an article appeared that incorrectly attributed comments to the CEO

Dear Sir
I refer to an article that appeared in your edition of 20 February 2006 under the headline "Business banking move slated" and am disappointed with the standard of reporting.
At no time during his interview on Channel 9’s Business Sunday program did the Chief Executive Officer of the Commonwealth Bank, Ralph Norris criticise David Murray's decision nor did he make the comment that the "business banking area had shrunk over the past decade largely because of Mr Murray’s strategy".
I would appreciate this being corrected immediately.
