Recent wins

Our vision is to excel at securing and enhancing the financial wellbeing of people, businesses and communities. This focus has been reflected in a number of recent award wins.

	Australian Private Banking Awards 2012 Commonwealth Private were proud to receive multiple awards at the Australian Private Banking Awards. For the fourth year running Commonwealth Private were named the Australian Private Banking Council’s Most Outstanding Institution (in the $1m-$10m category). This is the private banking industry’s peak award, and is the result of interviews of more than 800 clients of private banks in Australia. Winner – Outstanding Private Banking Institution of the Year 2012 in the $1m-$10m category, for the fourth year in a row. Winner – Outstanding Relationship Manager 2012 – awarded to Rob Fasano, Private Client Manager.
	The Asian Banker Transaction Banking Awards 2012 We’re pleased to be recognised as the Best Cash Management Bank in Australia at The Asian Banker Transaction Banking Awards 2012 for the third consecutive year. The Asian Banker is a leading provider of strategic intelligence to the financial services industry. Every year, The Asian Banker Transaction Banking Awards honour the achievements of leading global and domestic banks in the transaction banking business including cash management, trade finance, payments and counterparty relationships.
	2012 Catalyst Award for Gender Diversity Initiatives On 25 January 2012 The Commonwealth Bank Group was announced as the winner of the 2012 Catalyst Award for its initiative on Gender Diversity. This prestigious international award recognises organisations around the world that have created successful programs to recruit, retain and advance women in the workplace. The Group was honoured for our culture change and gender diversity initiatives. These initiatives are supporting us to increase the number of women in senior leadership positions and leverage diverse experiences and perspectives to provide excellent customer service to an equally diverse community. As only the second Australian organisation to win this global award in its 27 year history, the Group is excited to have our culture change and diversity program recognised on an international stage.
