	The Asian Banker Transaction Banking Awards 2009 The Asian Banker Award recognises the annual achievements of banks from around the world rewarding accomplishments for market share, product and operational excellence. We were honoured with: Achievement Award for Cash Management in Australia
	Asiamoney Best Managed Companies Award 2009 Each year Asiamoney magazine assesses all listed companies through the Asia Pacific through internal research considering measures such as financial examination ie ROI, share price, corporate governance, and corporate strategy. This year, Asiamoney considered us: Best Managed Large Cap Company in Australia
	Plan For Life/Association of Financial Advisers Awards 2009 Over its 60 years of involvement in the advice industry, the AFA has sought to profile professionals that have made lasting changes to the industry. Their Plan for Life Awards recognise life insurance companies for the work they do in producing appropriate, contemporary insurance products and services for Australians. 	Ethical Investor – Australian Sustainability Awards 2009 The Ethical Investor’s Australian Sustainability Awards recognise best practice in corporate sustainability across Australian Stock Exchange-listed companies. Confirming that we are amongst the best in this area, the Group was recognised with: Special Award for Labour Relations/Human Capital Management
	ALB Law Awards 2009 The ALB Australasian Law Awards are the premier event for the Australian and New Zealand legal industry, recognising and celebrating the successes of the past year. 	CFO Awards 2009 The CFO Awards recognise the achievements of the very best in Australian finance. M&A Deal of the Year (Commonwealth Bank of Australia’s acquisition of Bankwest and St Andrews from HBOS)
	Interactive Media Awards 2009 The Interactive Media Awards (IMA) recognise the highest standards of excellence in website design and development internationally. Netbank, CommBiz and commbank.com.au have been awarded 'Best in Class for Financial Services' and 'Best in Class for Banking' in the 2009 Interactive Media Awards. More info
	*Money* magazine Awards 2009 These prestigious awards are judged by a team of Money magazine experts who evaluate thousands of products from banks, building societies and credit unions across Australia. NetBank won Money magazine’s 2009 Consumer Finance Award in the category of Banking Website of the Year for the second consecutive year. More info
	Global Finance 2009 Global Finance magazine selects the best financial institutions around the world each year in awards that have become a trusted standard of excellence. We were named Best Bank in Australia and 12^th safest bank in the world. The Commonwealth Bank was awarded Best Web Site Design when Global Finance named the 2009 World’s Best Internet Banks in Asia. 	Mortgage & Finance Association of Australia Excellence Awards The MFAA Awards recognises and rewards individuals and companies who have excelled and achieved great success – the best of the best in the mortgage and finance industry. We were honoured with Lender of the Year.
	Asian Banker Excellence in Retail Financial Services Awards 2009 The Asian Banker Excellence in Retail Financial Services Awards were created in 2001 to recognise financial institutions which have excelled in meeting the needs of their retail financial services customers. We were honoured with: Excellence in Internet Banking Excellence in Distribution Network Integration
	Australian Private Banking Awards The Australian Private Banking Awards recognise institutions and individuals within private banking, private wealth and private client services who excel in areas that are important to their high net worth clients, and which are voted for by these people. We won Outstanding Private Banking Institution of the Year (in the $1m to $10m bracket).
	Equal Opportunity for Women in the Workplace Agency The Group has been recognised as an Employer of Choice for Women in 2009 The Federal Government’s Equal Opportunity for Women in the Workplace Agency (EOWA) has released a list of organisations recognised as an Employer of Choice for Women. To be recognised as an EOWA Employer of Choice for Women employers must meet stringent criteria.
	The Australian Women’s Weekly Product of the Year Awards The Australian Women’s Weekly Product of the Year Awards recognise brands that are considered the most trusted and innovative across a range of categories. These include beauty, health, home, lifestyle, family and technology. This is the inaugural year of the Awards and NetBank has been selected as a Finalist in the Favourite IT/Communications category for embodying the best in experience and quality. 	The OSCARDS The OSCARDS is a professional event hosted by Publi-News, a trade publications house involved in the card banking industry. OSCARDS recognise extraordinary innovation in bankcard applications. In winning an OSCARDS for the ‘Best International Prepaid Card’, the Group has been recognised for extraordinary innovation. This Award win also demonstrates our ongoing commitment to providing world class travel options to our customers. The Travel Money Card was honoured with an OSCARDS award in the category ‘Best International Prepaid Card’.
	CoreData Study A recent study by CoreData has found that Commonwealth Financial Planners are the ‘most trusted adviser’ in Australia (May, 2009) The objective of this study was to understand investor and consumer attitudes towards professional financial planners in light of the fallout from the recent global financial crisis. It has been designed to get under the skin of Australian opinion and affection towards financial planners. Commonwealth Financial planners offer simple, easy to understand expert advice. With over 700 Financial Planners nationally, our large network can assist you with your needs.
	Dealer Group of the Year Commonwealth Financial Planning has won the prestigious 2009 Money Management/CoreData Bank “Dealer Group of the Year”. Commonwealth Financial Planning received the highest rating across a number of measures including a survey of adviser sentiment and factual data from Money Management’s annual Top 100 Dealer Group report. To determine the winners independent researcher CoreData analysed the data of the Top 100 Dealer groups- in particular funds under advice and size - as well as the responses from 1695 adviser practitioners rating their own and other dealer groups.
