Currency conversion

Currency conversion enables you to offer international customers the option of paying in Australian dollars or in their home currency. If they select the foreign currency option, they will only see the foreign currency amount on their card statement.

With currency conversion, you can:

• Provide better customer service with no foreign exchange risk
• Enhance the confidence of overseas customers who pay by Visa or MasterCard and potentially increase the value of their purchases
• Provide competitive differentiation and repeat business
• Accept both Australian dollar and foreign currency payments through one terminal
