Optional extras

Depending on the type of service you offer, you may want to include these optional extras with your EFTPOS Mobile service.

• XPOS — Increase your revenue and turn your EFTPOS terminal into a virtual store by offering more than 200 popular electronic products such as mobile phone cards, gift vouchers and magazine subscriptions. You don't need to carry any extra stock and you’ll earn a commission for each XPOS product sold. It also gives you the opportunity to offer more services while you're on the road.
• Pre-authorisation — Enables you to check if funds are available on the cardholder’s credit card and to reserve the funds without debiting their account.
• Tipping — Allows your customers to add a specified tip amount to their credit or debit card purchase.
  

iPhone and mobile internet devices

Alternatively, if you have an iPhone or mobile internet device, you can use eVolve SINGLE, a web-based interface that accepts all major credit card types and offers on-the-spot authorisations, which you can access using an iPhone or other mobile internet device.
