As an AgriGrad, you'll be one of a select few within the Commonwealth Bank to access a training and development program tailored specifically for a career in agribusiness. The one year rotation program provides opportunities for you to learn and develop within all client facing areas of the bank's Agribusiness division. You'll also be encouraged to develop your leadership capabilities through participation in a diverse array of activities, networking functions and formal learning sessions.

As an AgriGrad, you will:

Be based in a regional Agribusiness Centre

Gain an in-depth understanding of the bank's sales and risk processes and our Agribusiness product range.

Rotate around all client facing areas of Agribusiness including sales, risk, and product specialists.

Have the chance to get out of the office and onto farms to build solid customer facing experience

Be involved in a range of learning and development activities designed to enhance your program experience.

Consolidate the personal and business skills you have developed.

Focus on developing and strengthening your leadership skills to prepare you for a senior role within the Bank.

You'll also participate in:

An induction and orientation program - an experience that includes targeted learning, networking and opportunities to meet key Bank executives.

Professional business skills training including sales, agribusiness lending and risk analysis.

Peer learning and support groups, including a buddy program.

Learning forums.

Social activities.

Mentoring from the Bank's executives.

Development projects.

Networking functions.

The AgriGrad program provides you with an accelerated pathway to a successful career in agribusiness. At the end of your rotation, you'll have the opportunity to join the Agribusiness team in one of the bank's regional locations.
