Shop without cash or cards


Set up your iPhone 4 or 4S for contactless payments by ordering an iCarte case from Commonwealth Bank via the app. When you receive and activate your iCarte case, you can just hold your iPhone over any PayPass contactless terminal to pay when you’re shopping for purchases under $100. There’s no need for cash or cards.


Easy mobile banking


You can use Kaching to conveniently make payments via BPAY or with an account number and BSB. It's simple to transfer money between your accounts with Kaching and you can also use the app to find the nearest Commonwealth Bank ATM or branch. 


  • Important information: You must be registered for NetBank with NetCode to make payments and purchases using a mobile phone. Recipients of payments via mobile, Facebook and email need an Australian bank account to claim. Subject to network provider coverage. Other conditions and fees apply.
    Commbank Kaching is compatible with all iPhone’s operating iOS 4.2 and above. The contactless payment function is only available for iPhone 4 and above devices with an iCarte connected to the phone which is available to order via the app.
    To use CommBank Kaching, you’ll need a compatible Android phone running Android version 2.3 or above (go to www.commbank.com.au/kaching-for-android to check if your phone is compatible), have an Australian mobile number, use NetBank and also be registered for NetCode SMS.
