Determined to be better than we have ever been

The Commonwealth Bank is committed to being Australia’s finest financial services organisation through excelling in customer service.  To achieve this, we are doing things differently.  This determination to be different has been reflected in a number of recent award wins, including the prestigious Money magazine Bank of the Year 2008 title. 

Whilst these are all great achievements, we are now even more determined to be better than we have ever been, by focusing on service and earning your business rather than counting on it.

Money Magazine Bank of the Year 2008
We have been awarded the prestigious title of Bank of the Year 2008 by Money magazine because of our consistency in delivering the types of products that our customers want, across a broad range of categories.

We also won Banking Website of the Year with Money magazine, who noted that, “Commonwealth came across the line very strongly as the clear champion”.  Some of the features that helped us win this title include online statements for up to seven years, two-factor authentication for security, and optional extras such as daily stock reports.

 

CANNEX 5-Star Ratings
From credit cards and deposit accounts to home loans and business lending, many of our products hold a five star CANNEX rating*. Cannex CEO Andrew Spicer believes the Commonwealth Bank has “absolute product consistency in delivering what customers want”. Only 5% of reviewed products receive a CANNEX 5-star rating so this is industry recognition that our products offer you superior value.

Three of our senior executives have been selected as the best in the industry at the Australian Banking and Finance Awards:
