Passports expired more than 2 years ago cannot be used

Tips for entering your details online:

1 Country of issue: If your ‘Country of issue’ is not Australia, please update your country in the drop down menu
2 Passport number
3 Expiry date
4 Place of birth: Must match what is stated on your passport

All Medicare card records are available

Tips for entering your details online:

1 Medicare number: This is the 10 digit number on top of your card
2 Individual reference number: This is the 1 digit number to the left of your name
3 Valid to: Ensure the date is entered as mm/yyyy

Drivers licence

There are some exceptions to drivers licence records available:

ACT: Records available for all years
NSW: Records available for all years
QLD: Records available for all years
VIC: Records available for all years
NT: No records available
SA: No records available
TAS: No records available
WA: No records available

1 Licence number: Your drivers licence may show this in a different location. Enter this number into the ‘Licence /Photo ID number’ field
2 Expiry date: Your drivers licence may show this in a different location

Photo ID card

NSW: Records available for all years

All other states: No records are available

Tips for entering your details online:

1 Card number: If you have a Proof of Age card, enter the card number. Enter this number in the ‘Licence/Photo ID number’ field
2 PC number: If you have a NSW Photo Card, enter the PC number. Enter this number in the ‘Licence/Photo ID number’ field

Australian state-issued marriage certificate

There are some exceptions to Australian state-issued marriage certificate records available. Your marriage must be registered on or after the following years to use it:

NSW: Records available for all years
ACT: 1930
NT: 1986
SA: 1999
TAS: 1970
VIC: 1990
WA: 1984
QLD: No records available

Australian birth certificate

There are some exceptions to Australian birth certificate records available. Your birth must be registered on or after the following years to use it:

NSW: Records available for all years
NT: Records available for all years
ACT: 1930
QLD: 1974
SA: 1944
TAS: 1970
VIC: 1929
WA: 1959

1 State of registration: Your certificate may show this in a different location. Ensure the state matches your birth certificate
2 Date of registration: Your certificate may show this in a different location. There may be three dates on your certificate. (Your date of registration is not your date of birth or the certificate print date.)
3 Registration number: Your certificate may show this in a different location
Note: For ACT, NT and SA birth certificates, you must also enter your certificate number and print date
