Applying for a bank account

Applying for a new account is fast and simple. If you’re an existing customer, you can apply for most transaction and savings accounts via NetBank. We already have your details, so all you need to do is select your account options. It can take less than 5 minutes to apply and have your account opened. Simply log on to NetBank, go to the ‘Offers & Apply’ tab and select ‘Accounts’.

If you’re a new customer or not registered with NetBank, you can apply for a new transaction or savings account by completing our online application form or you can also drop into any local branch to apply. Use our locate us tool to find a branch near you.

Use our easy switching service

One you have opened your account, you can use our online switching service to help transfer payments to your new account. Alternatively call 13 2221, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
