There are a range of Commonwealth Bank and non-Bank services that may be able to assist you at this time.

Commonwealth Bank, Deceased Estates Hotline

Our Deceased Estates team are trained to offer their assistance and expertise in relation to settling the CBA accounts and products belonging to the deceased.

Australian Centre for Grief and Bereavement

The Australian Centre for Grief and Bereavement is a not for profit organisation established to provide a range of education, counselling, research and clinical services for those working in and affected by experiences of grief and bereavement.

Australian Funeral Directors Association

This organisation may be able to assist in planning the funeral and selecting a funeral director of your choice.

Centrelink

The Federal Government provides a range of information which may help at this time, such as:

  • where to obtain the Death Certificate
  • organising the funeral
  • what Government assistance may be available and
  • who else needs to be advised

The Law Society in your State

The Law Society can offer advice towards managing an Estate.
