What you’ll need to apply
- Your personal contact details
- Your Tax File Number (TFN) or TFN Exemption. It’s not an offence to
withhold your TFN for the deposit account. However, if you don’t quote it, the
Bank is required by law to deduct tax from any interest earned on the deposit
account, above a certain threshold.
You may also need
- Your NetBank Client number (if you are
already registered to use NetBank)
Who can apply?
You can open a GoalSaver account if you (and any joint applicant):

- Are opening the account in personal names (maximum of two applicants for
joint accounts) and the account is to be used for personal purposes.
- Have, and will maintain, an Australian residential address.
- Do not already have 2 or more GoalSaver accounts.
