MasterCard PayPass is a faster, easier way to make purchases under $100, making it ideal for transactions like your morning coffee, plus paying at petrol stations and convenience stores. You don’t need to sign or enter a PIN to pay for things under $100. Just tap your card against a PayPass reader and once the transaction is confirmed with a beep, you're done. Commonwealth Bank is the first to offer PayPass on every MasterCard credit and debit card in Australia. PayPass is already available on over 15,000 terminals around Australia, and you’ll see it in more and more retailers as we continue to install terminals throughout the country.
