Interest Rate

The Awards credit card interest rate is 19.99% p.a. on purchases and 20.99% p.a. on cash advances.

Fees and Charges

$89 Annual Fee (or $59 if you do hold a qualifying Commonwealth Bank account or loan when you apply for a Commonwealth Bank credit card).

Other fees and charges may be payable.

Balance Transfer

Once approved, transfer the balance of any Australian-issued credit card or store card to your Awards credit card. You'll have just one bill to manage each month and pay just 5.99% on balances transferred for the first 5 months. At the end of the balance transfer period, the interest rate on any outstanding transferred balances converts to the cash advance rate current at that time.

Each Awards account has two cards: a Commonwealth Bank American Express^® Card and a Commonwealth Bank MasterCard^® card. You will only be charged one annual fee for both cards.

Other fees and charges may be payable.

Interest-free period

Up to 55 days interest free on purchases and most bill payments. It does not apply to cash withdrawals or to any purchases while a balance transfer remains outstanding.
