Your first meeting with a Commonwealth Financial Planner will help you understand the process of financial planning and helps us ensure we can offer you the advice and financial returns you need to achieve your goals. That’s why your initial appointment is no-obligation and at our expense.
During this meeting, we’ll talk with you about your financial goals, lifestyle and situation at home and work. Then we’ll outline how we can help you plan for the future while giving you the opportunity to determine whether an ongoing financial planning service is right for you.
Should you decide to move forward with a plan, your financial planner will prepare a financial plan, also known as a Statement of Advice. There will be a fee for preparation of your plan, but this will all be explained to you upfront during your initial complimentary meeting. For many, the cost of passing up financial planning services is far greater than any fee.
If you choose to participate in our Ongoing Service Program, there are additional fees that are largely dependent on the complexity of your financial plan and investment portfolio. These fees cover the costs of managing your investments over time. Your planner will explain these to you during your initial appointment.
If you decide that gaining advice from Commonwealth Financial Planning is right for you, you can get started immediately by using our online booking form to organise an initial, no-obligation consultation with a Commonwealth Financial Planner.
