Before you go

  • Notify us before you go when you’re travelling. This helps to ensure nothing suspicious happens on your accounts.
  • Register for NetBank so you can manage your accounts with ease while you’re overseas.
  • Check with your mobile provider on the fees and charges associated with global roaming.
  • Taking your mobile overseas? Tell us so we can send NetCode SMS, our single-use password authentication system, to your international or Australian number.
  • Not taking your mobile overseas? Register for NetCode token to ensure you can still transfer funds online.
  • Organise travel insurance to protect you if the unexpected occurs. Certain Commonwealth Bank credit cards offer complimentary travel insurance.
  • Make sure you stay up to day with the latest Government Travel Warnings.
