• Register for NetBank so you can manage your accounts with ease while you’re overseas.
• Check with your mobile provider on the fees and charges associated with global roaming.
• Taking your mobile overseas? Tell us so we can send NetCode SMS, our single-use password authentication system, to your international or Australian number.
• Not taking your mobile overseas? Register for NetCode token to ensure you can still transfer funds online.
• Organise travel insurance to protect you if the unexpected occurs. Certain Commonwealth Bank credit cards offer complimentary travel insurance.
• Make sure you stay up to day with the latest Government Travel Warnings.

Plan on using your existing accounts?

• Increase security by setting a PIN on your Debit MasterCard, keycard and credit cards.
• Request a credit limit increase or apply for a credit card to have funds in case of an emergency.
• Link the account you wish to use overseas to your Debit MasterCard or keycard.
• Check international fees and charges on transaction and credit card accounts.
