Step 1 - Change password

Welcome to the ‘change password’ demo. Simply read the prompts at the top of each screen, then scroll down and complete the tasks inside the box below.

Please note that passwords need to be 6 to 12 characters in length.

Enter passwords

A) For this demo, please enter ‘rusty123’ as your current password and ‘cricket987’ as the new password.

B) Then click the ‘Confirm' button.

You will need to select a new password before you can enter NetBank.

How to choose a password.

Your password is the access key to your NetBank service.

Your new password cannot be the same as your current password.

It is important to choose your password with care to ensure maximum security.

The following hints may help you with your password selection:
  • Your new password must be between 6 and 12 characters long.
  • Your password can only contain alphabetic characters (A-Z) and numeric characters (0-9).
  • Your password must not contain spaces or punctuation characters.
  • Your password must not contain a recognisable part of your name or your date of birth. If it does, you will be liable for any loss arising out of unauthorised transactions.
  • For added protection, you should change your password regularly.
  • You should not use a password that you may be using as a PIN for your ATM, EFTPOS transactions.
