Transfer money

Step 1 - Transfer money

Welcome to the 'transfer money' demo. Simply read the prompts at the top of each screen, then scroll down and complete the tasks inside the box.

NetBank makes it simple to move money between your own linked Commonwealth Bank accounts (including credit card, home loan and Mortgage Interest Saver accounts), or pay anyone via selected accounts at other Australian financial institutions. Money transferred from a home loan is also referred to as a repayment redraw.

Enter the details

A) On the 'Transfer - enter details' page, select the account to transfer money from.

B) Select the existing account to transfer money to.

To transfer money to an account that isn't linked to NetBank, such as someone else's account at another bank, just type in his or her account name, BSB and account number. This account will then be added to your address book.Alternatively, if you make regular payments to a number of accounts you can create a transfer group and pay them all in one go.

C) Enter '$450.00' in the 'Amount' field, including the decimal point.

If you're transferring to a non-linked account also enter a description e.g. 'Invoice 123456' in the 'To account description' field.

D) Click the 'Transfer' button
