Making repayments

Managing your loan

Methods of repayment

We offer a number of ways for you to make your repayments that are designed to suit your individual circumstances:

Repaying your personal loan early

Paying your loan off early may mean you are charged a Deferred Establishment Fee.

If your loan is repaid within two years of the funding date (excludes loans with a one or two year term) then you could be charged $135 if you have an unsecured loan or $250 if you have a secured loan.

Problems making repayments

We understand that occasionally unforeseen events can make it difficult for you to meet your financial commitments. If you ever have any problems making your repayments, please contact your nearest Commonwealth Bank branch or phone 13 1431 from 8am to 8pm, 7 days a week. We will assess your individual situation and see what we can do to assist you.

Have you considered Loan Protection Insurance? It’s easy to arrange and can give you added peace of mind if an unforeseen event arises.
