StartSmart

Teaching kids money management skills

The Commonwealth Bank Foundation’s StartSmart program changes the way young people learn about money. By making financial education interactive, engaging and fun, we give students the confidence and competence to make smart decisions about money. Developing these skills from a young age ensures sound lifelong habits.

Delivered by world-class professional facilitators, and created in close consultation with leading education experts, our StartSmart sessions are high-energy and designed to inspire and motivate students. Available as age-specific modules taught over the course of a year, students will walk away with new money management skills.

The StartSmart program is available free to primary and secondary schools in Australia and does not promote the products and services of the Commonwealth Bank. Teachers are encouraged to register their interest in the StartSmart program.
