Allambi Youth Service cares for at risk youth who have entered foster care or out of home care. They train foster carers, deliver community counseling, host group work and parenting groups to provide education around parenting and help prevent homelessness.

Baptist Community Services - NSW and ACT (Campbelltown)

Chisholm Care provides crisis and medium term accommodation for women and children leaving home due to domestic violence.  Chisholm Care assists in providing safe and stable housing to women and children, as well as providing support and education.

Barnardos Australia - Sydney

Barnardos supports children who may be suffering from, or who are at risk of, abuse, neglect, homelessness or poverty. Barnados Family Crisis Support Services include: crisis foster care, accommodation, brief interventions and practical assistance. 

Cancer Council NSW - Woolloomooloo

Cancer Council NSW funds clinical research and treatment trials, develops and disseminates evidence based cancer prevention information, implements community programs and provides counseling and support services for cancer patients and their families.

Carries Place Women’s and Children's Services - East Maitland

Carries Place Women's and Children's Services exists to help families in the Maitland area.  Working to increase the number of families living independently and safe and free from abuse, addiction and reliance on government services.  Carries Place develops and facilitates a holistic program which empowers women who have difficult domestic violence or family backgrounds.

The Casino Neighbourhood Centre is a community-based organisation that provides a range of direct services and information to disadvantaged members of the Casino community. The Centre provides services to children, families, youth, the disabled, the Aboriginal community, aged persons, and young parents.

Communities@Work - Tuggeranong

Communities@Work is a diverse, community based organisation caring for people in all stages of life. Their services include: child care and family support, recreational and support programs for young people, home help, transport and social programs for seniors, respite care and services for people with a disability and women’s housing and emergency relief.

Life Changing Experiences Foundation - Surry Hills

Life Changing Experiences Foundation runs the SISTER2sister Program, a mentoring program for disadvantaged teenage girls. The program is unique in its provision of a formal structure of risk management and independent living workshops, activities, self coaching technique seminars, one-on-one mentoring, and a goal setting and achievement strategy program.

Minimbah Preschool Aboriginal Corporation - Armidale

Minimbah Preschool and Primary Nutritional Program Initiative is a non-profit program established within Minimbah Primary and Preschool. The fundamental aim of the project is to provide students with daily nutritionally balanced meals to ensure that the children are meeting their nutritional needs enabling them to maximise their learning potential and influence their future food choices.

NSW Women's Refuge Movement Working Party - Bathurst

The Bathurst Women and Children's Refuge is the lead agency for domestic and family violence in Bathurst. The refuge is a short-term crisis accommodation service for women and children escaping domestic violence.

Police and Community Youth Clubs NSW - Dubbo

The Dubbo Youth Foundation recognises the value of cultural and sporting diversity in the community. The Foundation aims to increase community engagement of people, who for cultural, social, financial and physical reasons, find mainstream sport participation difficult to achieve.

Since commencing in 2008, the Dubbo Youth Foundation Committee has assisted over 5,000 young people to enter mainstream community sport club membership for the first time and has assisted the community to develop three new sporting clubs and one new sports association.

Sylvanvale Foundation - Sutherland

Sylvanvale Foundation provides support to people with an intellectual disability, and currently provides services to more than 600 adults, children and families across the Sydney Metropolitan Region.  Services include: day programs, accommodation, private therapy and early intervention and respite programs for children, adults and their families.

The Charitable Foundation for Books in Homes Australia - Milsons Point

The Books in Homes Program empowers low socio-economic school students and increases literacy by encouraging and promoting a love for reading by providing books to disadvantaged children to take home and enjoy.

The Kidzwish Foundation Inc - Jamberoo

The KidzWish Foundation is a non profit organisation benefiting children in the community who are sick, disabled or disadvantaged. The Foundation promotes awareness, education and support for these children and their families, carers and friends. Current programs include: The Love and Laughter Program, Music and Dance Programs and Therapy Assisted Programs. 

The Shepherd Centre - Strawberry Hills

The Shepherd Centre helps children who are deaf and hearing-impaired to listen and speak. Children are taught to use their residual hearing with appropriate technology such as hearing aids and cochlear implants.

The Salvation Army - Fairfield West

The Salvation Army Youthlink is a specialist youth service which currently operates eleven programs for at risk young people across Western Sydney. The programs assist in vocational training and drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

UnitingCare Singleton Disability Respite Services - Singleton

UnitingCare Singleton Disability Respite Services provides many varied services to the community, particularly to families within the Upper Hunter who have or care for a child with a disability and/or special needs.

Youth off the Streets Limited - Alexandria

Youth Off The Streets is a community organisation working for young people who are disadvantaged, homeless, drug dependent or recovering from abuse. Youth Off The Streets supports these young people as they work to turn their lives around and overcome immense personal traumas such as physical, psychological and emotional abuse.

YWCA NSW - Sydney

YWCA NSW supports vulnerable people all across NSW at times in their life when they need it most. They provide early intervention programs to educate individuals, ensure safe families and promote healthy communities. YWCA NSW is also a grass-roots organisation which provides hands on practical support like housing and works collaboratively with other service providers.
