The Commonwealth Bank is pleased to partner the National Library of Australia in celebrating its 100th anniversary through sponsorship of the unique and priceless exhibition ‘Treasures from the World's Great Libraries’.
An inspirational exhibition which records the history of human thought and endeavour with treasured artefacts from around the world, the Commonwealth Bank is proud to be associated with one of Australia's oldest cultural institutions.
Jill Lester, Head of Group Corporate Relations, Commonwealth Bank said, "Over the last 100 years, the National Library has played a valuable role in our community in the preservation of our nation's history and culture. That tradition continues today through presentation of rare and special exhibitions."
"This exhibition provides the opportunity for many Australians to view priceless cultural artefacts," said Ms Lester.
The Commonwealth Bank has been providing accessible and affordable banking services to all Australians for nearly 90 years. Its support of the National Library is yet another way the Bank seeks to show its support for the community it serves.
The Commonwealth Bank congratulates the Library on its 100th birthday and for its inspirational work in both creating and bringing this exhibition to the Australian public.
