The Commonwealth Bank advises that 93% of branches are open for business across Australia, despite industrial action taken by the Finance Sector Union.

Electronic banking facilities such as ATMs, EFTPOS, telephone and internet banking networks are available as usual and customers can also use the Bank’s Australia Post and private agency networks to complete their personal banking transactions.

The Bank is taking whatever action it can to minimise disruption to customers and apologises for any inconvenience caused. A special Customer Hotline 1800 650 630 is available today to answer enquiries and advise customers on the location of their nearest open branch.

The Bank said it wished to thank staff for continuing to provide service to customers and to thank customers for their patience and understanding.
