Commonwealth Bank working to fix processing error

The Commonwealth Bank is currently working to rectify a processing error that has affected the accounts of some customers in the last 24 hours.
A number of transactions were duplicated in overnight processing. As a result, the current balance of some accounts may be incorrect. Credit cards are not affected. The Bank wishes to assure all customers that there is no risk to their funds, and they will not be financially disadvantaged. Around 1 per cent of customers are affected.
The problem is currently being fixed.
The Bank apologises to for inconvenience to customers. Customers who need assistance today should visit their local branch. Alternatively, customers may call 13 2221, but delays may be experienced
