Commonwealth Bank cuts fixed rate home loan interest rates

Thursday, 12 July 2012:  The Commonwealth Bank today announced that it will cut interest rates on its One and Three-Year Fixed Rate Home Loans by 0.20 per cent per annum.

This rate change means Commonwealth Bank Fixed Rate Home Loans are at their lowest levels for more than three years, and are the lowest Three Year Fixed Package Rate of all the major banks.

The new interest rates on one and three year Fixed Rate Home Loans, will be available for new borrowings over $150,000 from tomorrow, Friday, 13 July 2012.

Michael Cant, Executive General Manager Retail Products & Customers said, “This latest rate cut is good news for customers looking to lock in rates, giving them greater certainty.”
