If you’re ready for convenient and secure banking wherever your business takes you, then CommBiz Mobile is ready to help.

Before you begin, make sure your CommBiz administrator has opted in to mobile banking and that you have been personally identified as a CommBiz user by the Commonwealth Bank. If you haven’t, visit any of our branches with your ID documents, or call 13 2339 to find out more.

Download and activate

Transfer between accounts

It only takes a few minutes to get started. Visit iTunes and download the app to your iPhone or iPad. Each CommBiz Mobile user can register two devices — so if you have an iPhone and an iPad, you can use it on both.

The first time you log on, you’ll need to activate your app to make it fully secure. Simply answer a few security questions, accept the terms and conditions and wait for your device to be activated. Easy!

CommBiz Mobile helps you stay on top of your business’ cash flow position, anytime, anywhere.

With a single tap, you can check real-time balances for up to 26 accounts. And if an account isn’t listed, you can find it using the handy search bar.

1. How do I get CommBank Kaching?

The CommBank Kaching app is free to download from the App Store. Just search for 'CommBank Kaching'. Any fees and charges that apply to your account will continue to apply to transactions made using CommBank Kaching.

2. Is it safe?

CommBank Kaching incorporates a range of measures which in combination deliver high standards of security to provide customers with peace of mind when making mobile payments. These include: strong customer authentication procedures; device-level security controls; robust monitoring; and the backing of our 100% security guarantee.

3. How do I pay via PayPass™ with my iPhone?

To make PayPas payments using your iPhone, you will need the following: Be registered for CommBank Kaching; Have an iPhone 4S or iPhone 4; Purchase an iCarte case (refer to "What is an iCarte case" below); and  Have an eligible PayPass enabled Commonwealth Bank credit or debit MasterCard.

4. How do I pay my Facebook friends?

You make payments to anyone in your Facebook friends list that holds an Australian BSB and account number. Once you have made the payment you'll be provided with a unique Payment Code. You will need to pass on this code plus the amount of the payment to the recipient. To collect the payment, the recipient needs to visit https://www.commbank.com.au/collect.

5. What is an iCarte Case?

An iCarte case is a NFC (Near Field Communication) reader/writer that allows PayPass payments to be made between your iPhone4s or iPhone 4 and a merchant with a PayPass enabled terminal. iCarte cases need to be purchased via the Kaching application.


Important information

You must be registered for NetBank with NetCode SMS to make payments and purchases using a mobile phone. Recipients of payments via mobile, Facebook and email need an Australian bank account to claim. A limit of $100 applies to contactless purchases without a PIN or signature at participating merchants. Subject to network provider coverage. Other conditions and fees apply.

In order to be able to perform contactless payments, customers need either an iPhone 4S or iPhone 4 equipped with an iCarte case. iCartes can be purchased through the Commbank Kaching app for $54.95 (including postage and handling).
