Get started

Get started with Beem It by downloading the app and linking any Australian Visa or Mastercard debit card today. You’ll need to:

  1. Create a Beem It account, and verify your email address 
  2. Verify your identity
  3. Add your CommBank debit card

You can then use Beem It to pay other registered users, no matter who they bank with.

If you don’t have a debit card, open an Everyday Smart Access account – it comes with a Debit Mastercard you can add to Beem It.

Is Beem It safe?

Yes, Beem It benefits from bank-level security and encrypted user account information. Every transaction is authenticated and subject to real-time fraud monitoring.

If you suspect a fraudulent transaction has occurred on your CommBank account using Beem It, please contact us on 13 2221 immediately.

When it comes to payment security, CommBank is a leader in fraud protection. And, if the unlikely happens and an unauthorised transaction occurs on your CommBank debit card, we’ll reimburse you 100%1.

Which cards are eligible?

At this stage, customers can only upload an Australian Visa or Mastercard debit card to the app. Beem It are currently developing the functionality to use a credit card.

* You'll receive $5 when you link your eligible card to Beem It and complete the registration process.
