Inspiring Students to Prepare for Jobs of the Future

Inspiring Students to Prepare for Jobs of the Future

Addressing Australia’s skills shortage in the fields of Science, Maths, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) will have a big impact on our economy over the next decade.

We’re committed to inspiring youth to pursue these subjects at school which is why we’re inviting schools and students to our annual tech and innovation conference, AMAZE, to learn how technology is radically changing the jobs that will be available in the future.

Touch and play on community day

On the first day of AMAZE, we invite local Australian schools and students to attend and get inspired. They’ll have the opportunity to hear from speakers and experts about how the jobs of the future will be changed by technology. In the tech expo, they will touch and play with the latest tech and understand how their maths and science classes can translate into real world jobs in the future.

In the evening, we hold our Bring Your Kids to Work day for employees and their kids. This kicks off with a talk from technology entrepreneur and women in technology advocate Marita Cheng, the 2012 Young Australian of the Year and Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia in 2016.

Employees gaining real world skills

Our employees also get involved in learning about jobs of the future and developing new skills – all toward the goal of delivering better products and services to our customers. The event provides our employees with inspiration about emerging technologies and trends as well as real actionable information and opportunities for employees’ careers and lives.
