Switch off paper statements and win!

Did you know that NetBank now offers you the opportunity to switch off paper statements for your credit card accounts and most of your transactions and savings accounts?

Online statements give you the flexibility and freedom to source your statements quickly and in a safe environment while reducing your paper consumption and helping conserve our natural resources.  And with up to 7 years statements available online for open accounts (and 2 years statements for closed accounts),  we’re making it easier for you to keep your records securely and efficiently, and saving you plenty of filing space. Of course, if and when you do need a paper copy, you can simply print out the statements you want.

How do I switch off paper statements?

Just go to ‘Manage Accounts’, select ‘Manage my statements’ and follow the prompts.

How do I view my statements online?

Simply go to ‘View accounts’ and select the ‘Online statements’ tab, where you can select the statement you wish to view by choosing the account and the period.

To view and print your statements, you’ll need to have Adobe Reader installed on your computer. If you haven’t already got this software installed, it’s a quick, free download available from www.adobe.com.

Having difficulty viewing statements

Some customers have difficulty viewing online statements due to browser settings.  If you are having difficulty in viewing your online statement, check the top of the screen/page for the Internet Explorer security download information bar.  Certain versions of Internet Explorer have default browser settings that will bring up this security information bar whenever you view your statements online.

If this security information bar states:

“To help protect your security, Internet Explorer blocked this site from downloading files to your computer. Click here for options...”

You should click onto this 'security information bar' and select the option to 'Download file' from the menu provided.

Click onto the 'Open' button in the pop up box to view your online statement (it will open in a new browser window) or you can save it to a location of your choice.
