PAPER STATEMENTS

Find out what’s changing and how you can continue to receive free statements

Starting 1 February 2017, you may be charged for receiving paper statements on your accounts. The good news is, with a little preparation, you can easily avoid any fees that might come with this change. You can view a detailed list of the changes in the table below.

You won’t be charged if you’re under 18 years old or have notified us of a disability. Also, if you receive an age or service pension, the account in to which you receive your pension will avoid fees.

You can continue to receive free paper statements on a variety of accounts depending on the frequency.

Additionally, you can instantly view and print your statements from the past seven years on NetBank for free, anywhere, anytime. What’s more, if you switch to online statements we’ll notify you by email every time a new statement is available.

We are introducing two new fees:

  1. Paper statement fee: for each paper statement mailed to you outside the standard free cycle, as per the Terms and Conditions
  2. Ad-hoc paper statement fee: for one-off paper statements requested in branch, by phone or via NetBank

Remember, the maximum you may be charged for any one paper statement is $2.50.
