You can apply for Simple Life if you’re an Australian resident aged between 18 and 50. Unfortunately, applications from outside Australia won’t be accepted.

Your cover starts when your application has been accepted. When it’s been accepted you’ll receive a policy schedule, confirming:

  • Your cover start date
  • Your level of cover
  • Your premium

Your application, policy schedule and the Product Disclosure Statement are your insurance contract, or policy.

If you change your mind about your Simple Life policy within one calendar month, you’ll get a refund for any premiums paid. Your cooling off period starts on the earlier of:

  • You receiving your policy schedule
  • The end of the fifth day after your policy’s start date, which is set out on your policy schedule
