  • Why have the Transfer and BPAY® pages changed in NetBank?
    We regularly review feedback and perform testing with customers to continuously improve your NetBank experience. We’ve merged Transfers & BPAY into one location to make the process for both transfers and BPAY consistent. We’ve reduced the steps to speed up the process and made it easier to change your payment limits when you need to, so you can pay your bills faster.
  • Can I get the old versions of the Transfer and BPAY pages back in NetBank?
    No. We’re confident that you will find the upgraded and simplified Transfers & BPAY page in NetBank even easier to use. You can do everything you could do before, but its location and layout may have changed slightly. Find out more.
  • How are the BPAY and Transfer pages different?
    We’ve merged the previously separate Transfer and BPAY pages into one and reduced the steps. In the new Transfers & BPAY page, you can do everything you could do before – more quickly and easier than before, all in one location.
  • How do I pay a bill using BPAY or transfer money to another person in NetBank?
    1. 1. Go to the Transfers & BPAY section in NetBank
    2. 2. Select the From account from the drop-down list
    3. 3. To pay an existing biller or account.
      • Click on the To field and all BPAY and account transfer contacts will appear in the drop down. You can scroll through the list or start typing to find an account or BPAY biller that matches your search.
    4. 4. To pay a new biller or account
      1. Click on the Add new button and complete the required details
    5. 5. Enter the amount.
    6. 6. Select when you would like the payment to be made (now, later or set up regular payments).
    7. 7. Tick the Save this payment to favourites if it’s a payment you make regularly
    8. 8. Click Next to proceed.
    9. 9. Click Pay to confirm your payment – you’ll receive a receipt number once the transaction is complete

    You can now complete all bill payments and transfers from the one convenient location, rather than in separate sections of NetBank

  • Does NetBank Vault work with the new payment features?
    NetBank Vault does not interact with the new payment features.
  • How many favourite payments can I set up in NetBank?
    You can set up to five favourite payments in Transfers & BPAY. When you reach this limit you’ll need to delete a favourite payment before adding a new one.
  • Where and how do I delete favourite payments?
    To delete your favourite payments, go to Transfers & BPAY then simply click the ‘x’ next to the favourite payment description.
  • How do I remove or update details for a contact in my Address book?
    Your Address book is located under the Transfers & BPAY section. The Address book contains tabbed options to display your existing billers and accounts (the tabs include All, Transfers, BPAY and BPAY View). You can also start typing in the Search address book field to find an account or BPAY biller. Simply choose a contact to edit their details. When you edit the contact you will see a delete button at the bottom right. You can also delete a contact by clicking on the trashcan icon that appears when you hover over the contact
  • What is the maximum number of BPAY billers and account contacts allowed in my address book?
    The maximum number of contacts you can save in your address book is 300 accounts, 100 BPAY billers and 300 social payment contacts.
  • What is BillMinder?
    BillMinder is a new feature in NetBank which brings together your regular bills and payments in one convenient location. The handy ‘To do list’ shows you when a bill is due and any upcoming payments, helping you plan ahead and stay on top of your budget. To access BillMinder, go to Transfers & BPAY then BillMinder.
  • What is BPAY View?
    BPAY View lets you receive and pay eligible bills online - all in NetBank. This helps the environment by cutting out paper statements and consolidates your bills all in one convenient location. To register for BPAY View logon to NetBank, go to Transfers & BPAY then BillMinder. Search for eligible BPAY View billers

  • What is the difference between BPAY and BPAY View?
    BPAY lets you pay for a wide range of utilities and services such as electricity, phone, rent, builders, tax accountants and more using NetBank or telephone banking. All you need is a biller code and your customer reference number, which you’ll find on your invoice. If you have multiple bills, you can save time by paying them all at once using Multiple Transfers & BPAY in NetBank.

    BPAY View lets you receive and pay eligible BPAY bills online - directly in NetBank. This helps the environment by cutting out paper statements and consolidates your bills all in one convenient location. To register or view your current BPAY View bills, logon to NetBank, go to Transfers & BPAY then BillMinder. Search for eligible BPAY View billers.
  • If I use BPAY View to get my bills online, do I also get my bill via email?
    No, your bill is sent directly to BillMinder in NetBank. However you’ll receive a bank message in your Inbox and you can also get email notifications when your bill arrives - this is set up when you register your bill for BPAY View.

    To change the email address you’ve registered for BPAY View emails, just go to My contact details under the MORE tab in the top navigation. Update the BPAY View email address field and Save changes
  • Can I get my utility bills sent to me by email or to my NetBank inbox?
    BPAY View lets you receive selected bills online in NetBank. Your bill will be sent directly to NetBank and appear in the BillMinder page. You will also get a message in your NetBank Inbox to let you know your bill has arrived. To change the email address you have registered to receive BPAY View emails to, visit My contact details from the MORE button in the top navigation. Update the BPAY View email address field and Save changes.
  • BPAY View has changed; do I need to set up my BPAY View bills again?
    No. If you’ve already registered for BPAY View, you won’t need to register again. Your bills will automatically appear in the BillMinder page when they arrive. Check the list of BPAY View billers to see if you have other eligible bills.
  • Can I make multiple transfers or BPAY payments at one time and how many can I do at once?
    Yes, you can pay up to 100 bills, or make up to 100 transfers at a time. Go to Multiple transfers & BPAY then choose Transfers or BPAY to pay more than one bill or transfer money to multiple accounts at once. The maximum number of multiple transfers or bill payments you can do is 80.
  • Why can’t I add more than 18 characters to the description when making a payment?
    This is a restriction across many banks. Unfortunately we’re unable to increase it at this time.
  • Where did BPAY View go?
    BPAY View now appears in BillMinder under the Transfers & BPAY section in NetBank. BillMinder lets you manage your bills by giving you a view of what’s coming up as well as any overdue bills. You can register to receive your other eligible bills online through BillMinder. You can also find BPAY View in the MORE tab under Transfers & BPAY.
  • Can I get alerts to remind me to pay my bills?
    You’ll get email and bank message alerts when your BPAY View bill is ready to view in NetBank. Reminders will also appear in your ‘To do list’ in BillMinder when you logon to NetBank. To change the email address you’ve registered for BPAY View emails, go to My contact details under the MORE tab in the top navigation. Update the BPAY View email address field and Save changes.
  • Do BPAY and other payments appear in BillMinder?
    Yes they do. You can now view past, current, due and future bills and payments in one location. BillMinder organises the bills to show the most urgent bills in the ‘To do list’ and upcoming bills are displayed separately below.
  • Can you add other expenses into BillMinder?
    In addition to the bills you pay regularly in NetBank and the BPAY View bills you get online, you can manually add other expenses or reminders to BillMinder - so you’ll never forget that $50 you owe for dinner, or a special birthday again.
  • Can I delete reminders in BillMinder?
    Yes, you can delete reminders in BillMinder by updating their status to paid or archived in your ‘To do list’.
