How to buy foreign cash

  • Buy foreign cash at any CommBank branch1
  • An extensive range of foreign currencies in various denominations
  • Other currencies can be ordered if required
  • Order cash or travellers cheques. They will be delivered to your nominated CommBank branch within three to four business days of payment
  • Order between AUD500 and AUD10,000 worth of currency
  • Available to non CommBank customers
  • Pay using BPAY® via NetBank, telephone banking or through your own financial institution1

Buy foreign currency notes1 online from the Commonwealth Bank via our PriorityFX/ExpressFX service

1% of transaction amount (minimum $10.00 per transaction)

Buy foreign currency notes from a Commonwealth Bank branch

1% of transaction amount (minimum $10.00 per currency)

Sell foreign currency notes to the Commonwealth Bank2

1% of the transaction amount (minimum $10.00 per currency)

Multiple currencies can be purchased in one transaction.
