Transfer between currencies

When you convert money already loaded on your Travel Money Card from one foreign currency to another foreign currency.

The rate applicable at the time of the conversion will be the MasterCard or Visa exchange rate plus 5.25%.

Transferring from AUD to a foreign currency:

The rate applicable at the time of the conversion will be the CommBank Retail Foreign Exchange Buy Rate. See current rate

Important information

The Card issue fee does not apply for full-time primary, secondary or tertiary students, if the Card is purchased at a Commonwealth Bank branch. 

Transfer is only available to a Commonwealth Bank transaction account. Any ATM withdrawal or balance enquiry fee will come from the currency for which you are using your card.
