Legacy
Helping the families of our deceased veterans
Legacy is a voluntary organisation that was established in 1923. It provides essential services, such as counselling, special housing, medical needs, advocacy and social support services to 115,000 widows and 1,900 children and dependents.
We've been a national partner of Legacy’s annual appeal, Legacy Week, since 1998 and have helped raise over $25 million.
Each year our staff lend a hand by volunteering their time to sell badges on Legacy Badge Day or by assisting Legacy staff with counting coins from donations. All branches across Australia also show their support by selling badges during Legacy Badge Week.
For us, Legacy embodies the community spirit of mateship, and we’re proud to be involved with an organisation that provides a lifetime of care and support to our deceased veterans’ families.
