Red Cross

When a crisis occurs, millions of Australians are happy to see red.

With more than 100 million volunteers worldwide, the Red Cross can reach and give hope to people in places like nobody else can. When disaster or tragedy hits, the Red Cross is there to assist and we are proud to be there with them, opening up our call centres and branches to help raise money for those in need.

In addition to supporting Red Cross relief work, our staff participates in Red Cross programs, such as TeleCross. Through TeleCross, a call is made each day to an elderly or medically dependent person to ensure they are safe and well. This one phone call helps these people stay in their homes and out of residential care.
