The establishment of the Beijing Representative Office in 1994 provided a liaison point for the Commonwealth Bank to build valuable relationships with government bodies, financial institutions and corporations in China. It operates under an Indonesian banking licence and offers its local customers savings, term deposits, current accounts, mutual funds, loans, bank guarantees and foreign exchange.
